Blau Costa Verde in Holguin?

Any recent travellers to this location? any advise?
It is located on Playa Pesquero...a beautiful beach, soft white sand, turquoise waters. It's a secluded area, with calm waters...lots of activities such as sailing, swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, pedal boat, and snorkelling and scuba diving...and many other activities. Horseback riding, night-time tennis and scuba diving are available at extra charge (but minimal).
You will be about 15 minutes away from the town of Guardalavaca (and an hour away from the airport).
Do try to take a day trip (or overnight stay) to Havana.

I recommend that you book your room on either 2nd or 3rd floor...try to avoid the 1st floor as in some hotels you may find it more damp (or musty) due to the high humidity being along the beach.
And always make sure you book no less than a 4* to guarantee good quality and service.
It's best not to take US dollars as you will be charged about 10% fee for conversion. Using CAD, Euros, Sterling to convert to CUC will not have a charge. Credit cards are accepted but as long as they're not US based.

Take plug adapters/converters in case you need them for your appliances. As well, take your own batteries and chargers.

Just enjoy yourself and have so much fun. Make sure to relax with the Cubans and be friends. You will be guaranteed to go back over and over again.
