my best advice is to go to www.wikipedia.org and read it yourself. It has it's post communist problems but it's changeing very fast , but yes it's in eastern Europe! Member ot NATO and EU ! Great for traveling, lot's of nature and nice people! Unique folklore. Great beach resorts for all kinds of people, a lot of great hiking trails, and also very interesting history. it's popular destination for ski in the winter and beach for the summer by a lot of europians.
It's a nice place to visit.
