Easter Traditions in Greece?

Thinking ahead...for a change...Can anyone give me information of any local traditions or events which take place around Easter time in Greece.

I don't mean the well known ones like passing under the bier for luck on Good Friday, or the fireworks at midnight on Saturday....

What I am looking for are any ceremonies that are particular to say a region of Greece or even just one village.

I would be very interested to hear also of any that are only performed on Crete
