If visiting mea shearim is it worth wearing a kippot as they are so orthodox and to get more respect
i dont mean to be hyper or anything but i was just wondering The majority of Israelis are secular and don't wear a kippa. As it's said before, if you wear one in Mea Shearim, they'll know anyway that you're not one of them - and: you might be called into a shul to be the tenth one in a prayer...
I think for a guy it's not necessary - as a woman it's dangerous to go there in "immodest dress" - they can get really violent - but only to women... :(
