Kumamoto Castle was originally built about 400 years ago. Attractive features of this castle are the blak and white main tower and the curved stone wall which is called mushagaeshi. It's one of the most famous castles in Japan.
There are about 800 sakura trees here. In spring, cherry blossoms and the castle are illuminated at night.
