School trip... ugh?

We are going to NY for the beta club... it's like a 10 hour drive. D: Being trapped on a bus with 39 other people does not interest me. My bestie is going to be there, but how will I survive? What can I do to make the trip more tolerable? D;
Bring plenty of things to do on the bus. Get a backpack to bring on the bus, sort of like a carry-on.

In the back-pack, put:

-book(s)
-a iPod or MP3
-paper and writing implements (you can draw or write)
-a deck of cards
-your cellphone (if you have one)
-digital camera
-electronic 20 Questions (if you don't have one, they are only like $5 - $8)
-a few snacks, I'm sure you will be stopping, but you might get hungry in between stops
+bring things like:
*small bags of chips/pretzels/goldfish
*fruitsnacks
*crackers
*cookies
*trail mix
*bottles of water
*bottles of juice or juice boxes
-bring gum and mints
-money (for stops)
-a portable DVD player and DVDs
-PSP/Gameboy/any hand-held games
-flashlight (so if it gets dark, you can still read / draw / write)
-any thing you might have at home that can entertain you on a bus
-a small pillow
-a small blanket
-slippers

Other Things:

-wear comfortable clothes
-take advantage of all stops to go to the bathroom
-sit with your friend
