What is the best field of work in Jamaica?

I would like to move to jamaica within a year or so,and have been told that the hotel industry is the way to go.I am currently in the medical field! I have been to Ja several times and love it! Besides, my boyfriend is there.Any advice on the employment outlook? would I be wasting my time?Or is Jamaica a good choice? I can't stop thinking about Jamaica! I hate NY because it is cold,overcrowded and the beaches are horrifically polluted!Is life really that hard down in ja,compared to the states?It is quite expensive in NEW YORK to be honest!
Snowflak......Firstly let me say,if you want to work in Ja,you should look about getting a work permit,or get married to your boy friend,and then apply for Ja'can citizenship,so that there will be no restriction for you.The medical profession in Ja is lucrative,because Ja always need these kind of ppl,you could work at the Universities of the West Indies Hospital in Upper Kingston,and this Hospital is the best in the whole Caribbean are St-Andrews Hospital, are further more you could just open your own private Medical Centre.Depends on your experience you could get the same salary as you are on now in NYC.There are plenty of private Medical Centre in the coporate area,and in the every Parishies.I know ppl who lived in Ja and worked in Miami,because they say Ja offer a better quality of life than the U.S,in their opinion,they do this by taking the very first flight from Kingston to Miami and then from Miami kgn.My advise is that next time you're in Ja go to the plc you would like to work and just ask some questions,am sure they will help you,Ja'can ppl are very friendly.am Ja'can i use to work in London didn't like, the weather is crap, so i went back home to work, and i glad did it,every weekend am at the beaches,BBQ and party none stop,by the am an Electrical Engineer,from what i can see ppl with skills like yourself are welcome.Look @ it this way your heart and mind are in Ja,and if you were to move there,to work and doing the job you loved that is definately a good choice.The foods and Friuts are fresh no pollutions are artifficial.If you have education life is not hard in Ja,just one more ting the houses are very nice.........you dont need no heating just AC........just follow your heart.......could start a family there.......
