What is the drinking age in Andalucia, Spain?

I am going on a trip to Fuengirola in early July and all of my friends and I will be 16. We were wondering if we will be able to drink. Whether it means being served in bars, or buying alcohol from shops. (not spirits, just beer)

What is the Legal drinking age? Are you allowed to drink in public?

And also, how strict are bartenders/police about this?

we going to feungirola in may and honestly to see the young british out of there heads is not a nice sight enjoy the country and not just the bars spains a lovely place. have a good holiday.the reason i say this is a couple of years ago we went abroad with friends and there kids 16 years old there parents let them drink and the daughter ended up trying it on with a married man and a big fight broke out, and ofcourse her dad said it was the mans fault, it wasnt she shouldnt have been drinking full stop .
