What is the most beautiful town/city/beach on the Spanish Costa del Sol?

The only large city on the Costa del Sol is M??laga itself. A nice city, but not the most fantastic, for those you should go inland to Granada, C??rdoba or Seville.
As to beautiful towns. Marbella is one of the loveliest on the western coastal area, it has some of the best beaches on the coast especially in the area of Pinomar between the Hotel Don Carlos and the Hotel Marbella Playa. On the other side of M??laga you have Nerja on the eastern coast, but it is much smaller, and I frankly found the beaches less to my liking. (I suppose it's a question of taste). The eastern coast of M??laga is wilder and less developed, the western one almost overdeveloped... But there are still many wonderful beaches on both sides....
If you want attractions, there are: a zoo (in Fuengirola), SELWO Safari Park (in Estepona), Selwo Marina and Sea World (in Benalm??dena) TIVOLI Amusement Park (in Arroyo de la Miel-Benalm??dena). There are 3 Waterparks... in Fuengirola, Torremolinos and V??lez M??laga. M??laga has museums (the Picasso Museum is excellent), Gibralfaro castle, a lovely port area; and there is a nice pedestrian area in the center of the city. Worth a visit definitely.
