Were planning a trip for next june..i was told that driving in Rome is not a good idea, but how does one get from town to town..
By Train is absolutly the best. You cold find the new High Speed train from Rome to Naples at 25,00 $ Rome have an eccelent Underground net. Naples is well linked by train with SORRENTO, POMPEII ERCOLANEUM. This train is called "CIRCUMVESUVIANA" 1,10 ??? is the price for the Ticket Naples- Pompeii by Circumvesuviana, and around 3,00 ??? from Naples to Sorrento.
In front of Central Station, near hotel TERMINUS is the bus stop fro the Busses from Naples to Amalfi coast.
