Whats the difference between N.Ireland and Ulster??
There are 4 provinces in Ireland, Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht. Ulster is the most northerly province and has 9 counties, Derry, Antrim, Down, Tyrone, Armagh, Fermanagh, Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan. The last three counties, Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan are part of the the Republic of Ireland, the other 6 are under British rule and are called Northern Ireland. Some people mistakenly call these 6 counties Ulster.
